Condition Reports

The bedrock of any conservation project is the initial condition survey. We find that nearly all of the work that we do has at some point started with a detailed review of a structure.

There is something quite exciting about exploring a new building catalogue how the space is interact with each other each other and diagnosing the cause of faults that you see or at least working out what it further investigation is needed.

We like to make our condition surveys a readable narrative that tells the story of the observations being made rather than just provide a list of facts and technical terms. For clients who are not technically based, this is incredibly useful particularly when partnered with clear reference photographs and a priority for dealing with the problems that have been observed.

Often these days we will also be teaming up with a drone survey to investigate roof levels and other high-level features which are just simply inaccessible by any other means.
