Our office is based in an bright and airy 1950's school building close by the river in York. Our staff comprise five architects (two of which are also company directors), a student and an administrator.

2012- Winner of the ‘Special mention’ category at the Leeds Architecture Awards for our work at the Church of St Margaret of Antioch (Leeds )
2011 - We are the architects for the restoration of the Church of St Margaret of Antioch (Leeds ) which won English Heritage’s ‘ HERITAGE ANGELS’ Award for churches.

2007 - YORK DESIGN AWARD for the restoration of the 20 Group Bunker for English Heritage. Shortlisted in 2010 for our work to provide a new restaurant at Bootham Public School
2006 - CONCRETE SOCIETY AWARD for the restoration of St Mary Magdalene, Goldthrorpe.
2002 - BARNSLEY DESIGN AWARD for the restoration of St Mary Magdalene, Goldthrorpe.
THE DIRECTORS:
ANDREW WILES. RIBA, MA (Sheff), Dip Arch, BAHons, AABC. Member of EASA.
Architect whose specialist studies at the York Institute of Advanced Architectural studies include stone and timber conservation also the conservation of 20th century buildings. MA research was in the timber construction of the early medieval period. Included on the English Heritage approved register of 'Architects Accredited in Building Conservation' (AABC). Architect member of the Sheffield DAC and registered as inspecting Architect with the Diocese of York, Sheffield, Ripon, Durham and Lincoln . Previous employment includes 10 years with Martin Stancliffe Architects, and with his own small building company.

Architect, Stained Glass designer & former Senior Lecturer at Hull School of Architecture. .Design advisor to the North York Moors National Park Authority and Ryedale Distric Council. Previous employment includes Martin Stancliffe Architects, Maguire and Co and Casson Conder Partnership
